Take a break

In today’s fast paced world, working life can often leave us feeling drained and exhausted. When we’re not feeling at our best we tend to make poor decisions that can negatively impact our work and even our personal lives. This is why taking breaks from work/busy environments is so essential, I call it self care.

We all need time to recharge our batteries and find inspiration, taking breaks allows us to do just that.

Personally, one of the best ways for me to ensure that I take breaks, is by prioritising time for self care in my daily dairy.

Great diary management can help you make space in your schedule everyday for activities that can help you unwind, relax and release stress. It can be something as simple as a walk, being in the fresh air and nature for even 30 minutes. It can be ten minutes having a cuppa, reading, anything that allows you to just “be” whatever relaxation looks like to you, find time to do it-daily.

Self care, such as taking breaks is no longer a luxury but has become a necessity. Rest when you’re weary, aim to refresh and renew yourself , your body , your mind and your spirit.

So next time you find yourself feeling tired and drained , remember that taking a break can be just the thing to re energise, refocus and perform at your best . It’s a sign of strength and self control to step back and prioritise your health.

Build in taking a break in your diary, practice self care, become the best version of you. You are so worth it.
