Life is for Living!
There’s no guarantee what life will throw at you. Like many clichés, life is a wheel that keeps turning, not slowing down when you’re up, not yielding when you’re down.
It doesn’t always give you what you want, at the time you want it, but it will provide you what you need, even if you don’t know it yet.
Life offers a lot of mysteries, enough to see that we are never bored. If you know where and how to look, you can find meaning in just about anything.
So here are a few reminders to know where to look.
Make memories, not a scrapbook
It’s good that you want to document what goes on in your life. Maybe you want to get a picture of that breakfast with your sweetheart, or maybe take snapshots of you and your friends at the beach, or maybe that wall you always notice on your way home.
In this digital age, it’s easy to document everything because the camera is right on your smartphone. It’s easy to share these photos via social media, tag friends to share it with, etc.
But just because you can, doesn’t mean that you have to or that you should.
Taking photos as a hobby or as souvenirs is all good. Just don’t let it get in the way of you immersing yourself in the experience you’re trying to capture on your camera.
Book trips
Almost everybody is enamoured by the thought of travel. Looking at those magazines, wondering where those pristine beaches are, those bustling flea markets. There is much to be curious about in this world!
Instead of studying these places in books, magazines, TV shows, why not just book yourself a ticket!
Travel doesn’t have to be expensive nowadays. There are so many promotional rates going around. There are hacks on how to have the perfect budget travel and all that.
Stop daydreaming and start day tripping.
Make time, don’t wait-Every time you say ‘later’, ‘tomorrow’, or ‘next year’, you may be putting life on hold somehow.
Get to that party, go see your boyfriend, go on that holiday! Remember that life is a series of moments that you say yes to.
Make time for your loved ones, do what you want to do while you can still do it, and don’t complain about not having the time to do anything because the truth is you do-there's 24 hours in a day for everyone.
Sometimes we’re too preoccupied with getting somewhere the way someone else did it that we forget we are different from them.
If you keep following other people’s journey, you’ll never know the wonderful places where your feet are supposed to take you.
You don’t need to know you’re doing the right thing. You just have to feel that it’s right for you.
Stop following steps, follow your heart :)
