Creating Abundance
This week I am going to describe 5 ways of increasing the abundance in your life by adopting some new habits. Maybe one or two will appeal to you.
Abundant Habit #1. Get Involved with a friend’s charitable cause.
One of the things we are most grateful for is the people in our life. The best way to return the kindness they have shown us is by reciprocating in a similar fashion.
For example, if a person close to you is involved with a charitable organisation, you can offer some sort of assistance. This could mean signing up and becoming an active volunteer, or even by just contributing whatever amount you can to further their cause.
Abundant Habit #2. Spread Messages of Inspiration or Motivation
A good way to do this is by writing small post-it messages on a colleague’s work station. You can also do the same for your significant other, children, or other family members.
They will surely get a good dose of POSTIVITY and it will serve as a reminder that you care about them.
Even the shortest of messages can create a HUGE impact and help someone get through a tough day.
Abundant Habit #3. Connect with Your Family and Friends
These are the people that you can count on whenever you face difficulties in life. So, it’s only fitting that you should find an opportunity to connect with them even when times aren't tough.
Make it a monthly habit to organise a simple but meaningful get together with them as a way of showing them your gratitude.
Abundant Habit #4. Send an Impromptu Email or SMS
Is there someone in your life right now that you haven’t talked to in a while? Maybe you have a long-time friend that stood by you even when you were going through a difficult time. Or you suddenly remembered your former co-worker who showed you the ropes when you were new at the office.
Whoever that person is, make a list and surprise them with a short and sweet email or text. They’ll appreciate the fact that you hold them dearly in your heart.
Abundant Habit #5. Invite Someone For A Meal
Think of a person you’d like to take out for a nice dinner or even a cup of coffee. Make the time to catch up with him or her.
Above all, remind that person of just how much you VALUE their presence in your life.
These habits are easy to incorporate to your daily or weekly schedule. What’s more, you don't have to do it all at once. You can gradually cultivate these positive habits of gratitude one day at a time.
Soon enough, you’ll be surprised by the amount of abundance you’ve created in your life without meaning to.
The more grateful you are for all your blessings, the more you can achieve.
That's it for this week :)
